Personal: Marc was a highly recruited 3 sport athletic in High school. He went on to play number 1 and was captain for his college team, he also played 1 year semi pro Football in the IFL and was the youngest QB in the IFL Marc has coached tennis at some of the top tennis resorts and clubs in the world. His tennis schools are well known and have received national recognition, from tennis magazine, Marc also writes a tennis column called, Ask The Professional, for North Carolina Tennis Today with a distribution of 20,000 tennis readers. Marc has always been interested in China*s culture and holistic approach to medicine and healing. He is excited about growing the sport of tennis in China. In his free time, Marc enjoys boating, and snow skiing with his family in Jackson Hole; other hobbies included music and collection Classic Cars.

Adam Gard*ner, a Co-Director of Tennis, has been with Shanghai Racquet Club from the beginning. He has had tennis professional experience in his home country of New Zealand (ten years), in Germany (three seasons), in the UK, and most recently, studied and worked at Van der Meer TennisUniversity, SC USA. Adam has also had experience teaching tennis to children and adults with disabilities. In 1999, Adam was awarded NZPTCA Coach of the Year, and was an AMP Insurance Scholarship recipient in that same year. Adam is a PTR NATIONAL TESTER.
