Architecture & Specifications
With a view towards preserving the ambiance and aesthetics of Shanghai's historic French Concession many of the elements of design of the French Concession area have been replicated in the Shanghai Racquet Club. Red luan oak wood pane French windows and doors have been recreated to warm the interior of each home and enrich the exterior appearance of the apartment buildings.
Wrought iron grillwork on balconies, perimeter walls and entry gates elaborate the French Mediterranean architectural image of the Shanghai Racquet Club, along with window flower boxes and copper gutters and drain pipes, add an ornamental touch to the exterior of the buildings. Exterior stucco walls are rendered in vertical swatches of varying pastel colors such as faded pink, light yellow, lavender, and cream, to suggest a row of town houses on a Shanghai side street. Spanish orange tile roofs, cascading balconies, terraces, and patios further enhance the French Mediterranean architectural theme. 上海网球俱乐部和公寓复制了上海古老的法租界的建筑所拥有的舒适、美观的风格。
法国式的红橡木门给了每一个住宅创造了温暖的感觉，同时也美化了整幢公寓楼的外观。
阳台上的锻铁护栏，围墙和入口的精致设计丰富了上海网球俱乐部这法国地中海式建筑的整体感觉。沿着窗口的花盒子和铜制排水管，更为楼的外观添加了观赏性。
外表灰泥墙由淡粉色、淡黄色、熏衣草色以及乳脂色等蜡笔颜色着色。宛如在一条上海小街上的房子一样。
西班牙式橘色屋顶，级联阳台，露台，更增强了这里建筑上的法国地中海式气氛。
