Gardens and Waterfalls
The Gardens of the Shanghai Racquet Club constitute an unparalleled level of landscape design for residential developments in China. A two meter high rock waterfall located outside the perimeter wall at the intersection of two main access roads to the community serves as the introduction to an elaborate central water feature comprised of three streams of rushing water cascading through rock waterfalls and ponds into a central lake.
Three heated, year-round swimming pools along with adjacent hot tub Jacuzzis are sited within the water complex, one located on the lake and the other two at the far ends for convenient access from every home. Each of the swimming pools is nestled within a small tropical oasis created by tall palm trees, thick hedges, rock formations, water cascades, and beds of flowers. A charming stone bridge rendered in the French style with three arches and foot bridges over the streams provide additional visual delights. 上海网球俱乐部的园林设计在中国所开发的所有居住区里是无以匹敌的。外墙联接处的一个两米高的岩石瀑布后面，三条小河流的水流过岩石瀑布，汇入中心湖。
三个常年加热的游泳池和相邻的温泉浴也是水景设计的一部分，一个温泉浴在湖边，另外两个座落在远端。每一个游泳池都宛如在热带绿洲里一样，由高大的棕榈树，厚实的树墙，花丛所环抱。一座迷人的法国风格三弯拱石桥和小溪上面的步桥更增加了人的视觉享受。
